THE LOVE OF GOD (Poem)

God's love can reach the vilest soul

the wretched, broken, lost & alone

the poor, the rich, young & old

the outcasts, the weak, the untouchables

Nothing else can redeem and transform

Scientific equations will never add to the heart

Philanthropy may nourish the stomach's cravings

But only God's love can fill the soul's longings

Psychoanalysts will never purify the mind

Only His grace & love imparted will truly satisfy

We love Him, because He first loved us

Oh Lord, Your amazing love is my heart's rejoicing & steadfast trust

Let His love flow forth from your life and your lips

So that each soul reached will be eternally blessed
